It was prop happy in my practice today. Why, you ask? (Great question!) Because I was feeling a bit frayed. Like the ends of this blanket, I was starting to unravel at the ends. How did this manifest itself in my body? Oh, well, in the form of a headache from staring at a computer screen for too long, less patience, negative self talk...and so I realized I needed support during my self-care time. The old me would've done some huge hard run and vinyasa flow practice. But I know better now. So I went the opposite direction and was super sweet to myself. Props can be used in yoga as a way to support and facilitate the practice to fit your body's needs. The key is to listen. Do you prop? Tell me about it!Happy Friday. Xxoo
