SMILES ๐Ÿ˜ƒI have been feeling really irritable the last few days, I've felt pressured, tense and unsettled. Then today's earlier workout was good but not great, and it annoyed me. I wasn't as comfortable under the heavy weight as I use to be and I didn't get the same numbers as months earlier. I questioned myself, I doubted myself and I felt defeated. I even let this mood carry into my work and I know I didn't give 100% motivation at my last class. 2hrs ago, I was feeling really bummed. ๐Ÿ˜žBUT... then I just hit out an impromptu 7km sand run EASY and during it I put everything in perspective ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ My goals are aesthetic (hola wedding coming up) and for functional fitness. I want to feel flexible and mobile across all movement patters, light when I run but strong when I lift, recover each day so I can train the next and I don't want numbers to dictate my mood. I finished that run so much more refreshed than when I started and I am so grateful for my health, fitness and happiness (that now I am reminded is only ever a good run away!) ๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธMoral of the story is... have your goals top of mind and keep things in perspective according to what you want and need to achieve them; block out the other noise cause that's all it is - noise. & not just in fitness but in all aspects; its your life, live it in the way that makes you happy and the best version of YOU ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ#liveit #happy #runnershigh #ptvee
