Every move you see here 45 seconds with minimal rest through the whole circuit. Complete 3-5 times depending how crazy you’re feeling. Impossible not to shake out for a hot second because this shit burns. So I showed my transitions between sides. 3 seconds maybe and hop right back in. Tag me if ya try itttt! 1. It takes under 4 minutes to complete when the dog isn't all up in my space, and preps your body for the work ahead. Instead of scrolling through your insta feed before your next run, use those minutes to give this warmup a try. Especially as it's getting colder outside (CA cold = 50 degreesโ˜ƒ๏ธ) it's important to get the blood flowing before you hit the road..1. Foam roll the biggies: quads, calves, glutes, upper back. 20 seconds per spot. This smushes the muscles around a bit, working out any kinks. Spend longer on any problem areas.2. Bird Dog x5 opposite arm and leg and x5 same side. This wakes up the core, making sure it shows up to the party. It also gets the brain firing, important in those early morning runs.3. Bridge with marching legs x20. This gets the glutes online, reminding your body to keep the hips level and core engaged always.4. Calf raises x25. Another activator, using the calves helps shift the work to the posterior chain so you don't rely on your quads as much..Are there any other exercises you always do before a run?
