Brain dump - Grab a blank piece of paper and write down everything currently rattling around in your head... events, present ideas, buy toilet paper. Everything is taking up mental space & energy, get it out of there and on paper. 2. Plot it out - use a calendar to mark in fixed events (Bonus tip: there are heaps of free templates online to print if you need). Then add in other ‘need-to-do’s’ from your brain dump... for example I’ve scheduled in a decorating day and a deadline for posting cards and gifts. 3. Put it somewhere everyone who needs to see it can!! Make copies of you need to. Adjust as necessary (being flexible will reduce your stress levels). . 4. Sit down for a cuppa (or a wine), you deserve it 🍷

Its a 7'6 softlite and I love it 😊 After trying it out at Bondi I went off to Maroubra beach to have my surf lesson and it was so rough today! Wave after wave pushig you back to the shore when you're trying to go further out to catch a good wave 😅 I'm exhausted. I've been going through a lot of hard times(I know, shocking 😴) and it's that time of year too so it's important that I am honest with myself and aware of the direction my pain is taking me and how fast it's gainging speed. When you have suffered severe tramas in your life the little things only add mass and can quickly send one into a tailspin. It's like when you're driving on ice and you feel yourself start to slide. You can panic and find yourself spinning out of control when you slam your brakes and jerk the wheel and try to control something you simply cannot in that moment OR you can let go drift a little and when you feel it grab regain control and keep moving forward. I have my moments but I decide when I have them, I allow myself to have them, and then I STOP having them. In the past, I would hide out or hold up for days or even weeks at my worst and wallow while I let the things in my life crumble around me. I would let the sadness overcome me once and then again when I felt worthless for being so pathetic and powerless to myself. These days the meltdowns happen far less and sometimes for no longer than the length of a song. It's hard letting yourself feel things but it's necessary but more importantly balance is necessary.
